Riak

The world's most resilient NoSQL databases

Visit Riak

Riak is a distributed NoSQL database platform for enterprises building web, IoT and Big Data applications that need data to remain available across distributed environments. The product line includes Riak KV for flexible key-value data models, Riak TS optimized for time series and IoT data, and Riak S2 for object storage, all built on a common code foundation with multi-model support. It is designed for high availability, fault tolerance, data accuracy and operational simplicity at scale.

Riak KV automatically distributes data across clusters and includes multi-cluster replication in its Enterprise edition. Riak TS co-locates time series data to support faster reads and writes for time and location data. Riak integrates with Apache Spark for in-memory analytics, Redis for caching, Apache Solr for full text search, and Apache Mesos for resource management. Riak S2 is compatible with Amazon S3 and OpenStack Swift. Riak Explorer provides browsing and administration capabilities.

Riak is aimed at application teams and enterprises working with unstructured data, session and profile management, IoT and time series workloads, and object storage. Open source versions of Riak KV, Riak TS and Riak S2 are available under the Apache 2 license, while commercially licensed Enterprise editions provide additional operational tools, features and customer support.
