MongoDB

The intelligent data platform for the AI era

Visit MongoDB

MongoDB is a document-model data platform for building and running applications that need to store, query, and process operational data alongside search, vector, and AI workloads. It is offered as a managed multi-cloud service (Atlas), a self-managed commercial product (Enterprise Advanced), and a free Community Edition for local development.

Atlas includes platform services for database, search, vector search, and AI agent tooling, including Voyage AI for embeddings and reranking and Atlas Agent Engine for building, deploying, and governing agents in production. Tools include Compass for working with MongoDB data in a GUI, Relational Migrator for migrating from relational databases, and integrations with third-party services. Atlas provides preconfigured security controls such as authentication, RBAC, encryption, auditing, and data masking, along with compliance resources and attestations covering standards including SOC, ISO, PCI DSS, HIPAA, and FedRAMP for Atlas for Government (US).

MongoDB is aimed at developers and teams building applications across industries including financial services, telecommunications, healthcare, retail, public sector, and manufacturing. It is packaged as a free Community Edition for local development, a managed Atlas service that can be started for free, and self-managed Enterprise Advanced for running on customer infrastructure.
