Fast analytics on fast data.

Visit Apache Kudu

Apache Kudu is an open source distributed data storage engine for analytics on fast and changing data. It combines fast inserts and updates with efficient columnar scans in one storage layer, supporting real-time analytic workloads without required external service dependencies. It is a top-level Apache Software Foundation project released under the Apache 2 license.

Kudu is designed for use cases that need fast analytics on rapidly changing data. It is engineered to take advantage of next-generation hardware and in-memory processing, and is intended to lower query latency for engines such as Apache Impala, Apache NiFi, Apache Spark, and Apache Flink. The project provides quickstart and installation resources, documentation, releases, and community channels including mailing lists, Slack, events, and meetups. Development resources include GitHub, Gerrit code review, and the JIRA issue tracker.
