ZGameEditor

Rapid game development with a tiny footprint

Visit ZGameEditor

ZGameEditor (ZGE) is a game engine and editor aimed at producing very small executables through procedural content generation. The editor runs on Windows, while applications built with it can also run on Linux, Mac OS X and Android. It supports 3D graphics and gameplay components, GLSL vertex and fragment shaders, and advanced techniques such as multiple render passes and render to texture. A built-in scripting language and real time audio synthesizer are included, along with the ability to import bitmaps, MIDI files, 3DS models and RAW waveform audio. External DLLs can be called for integration with other modules, and OpenGL functions can be called directly. The editor is freeware, content created with it can be distributed royalty free, and the full source code (Pascal) is available. Several sample projects are included.
