Scoold is a self-hosted Q&A platform, forum, and knowledge base for teams, designed to capture and share institutional knowledge on infrastructure you control. It can be deployed as a Docker container, a standalone JAR, or to cloud providers such as AWS, Azure, and GCP. The open-source edition is licensed under Apache 2.0.

Core features include full-text search, reputation points and badges, multiple spaces for organizing teams and projects, a RESTful API with an OpenAPI spec, and enterprise authentication via LDAP, SAML 2.0, OAuth 2.0, and SCIM provisioning. Integrations cover Slack, Microsoft Teams, Mattermost, Zapier, and n8n, along with webhooks and an Akismet anti-spam filter. Content supports Markdown with syntax highlighting, and the interface offers light, dark, and custom themes with i18n and RTL support.

Scoold is aimed at teams building internal knowledge bases, community forums, developer hubs, or support centers. The open-source edition is free and includes full-text search, social login, LDAP, backup and restore, and the REST API, with limits on spaces and admins. Scoold Pro is a one-time, per-instance license adding SAML SSO, SCIM, file uploads, chat integrations, and unlimited spaces; a Pro + Source tier adds source code access. Licenses include updates and support for 12 months, and a hosted Scoold Cloud subscription is also available.
