Stack Overflow for Teams (Stack Internal)

Turns your organization's know-how into a living, reusable memory for humans and AI agents

Visit Stack Overflow for Teams (Stack Internal)

Stack Internal is an enterprise knowledge platform that ingests, structures and stores information from tools such as Google Docs, Slack, Microsoft Teams and Stack Overflow Community, then delivers verified, permission-aware knowledge to people and AI agents through chat, API, MCP server and plugins. It addresses the problem of institutional knowledge becoming scattered across chat threads, documents and AI tools, where decisions are buried, experts repeat themselves and AI systems produce answers without reliable organizational context.

Its main capabilities include automatic ingestion through connectors and a custom ingestion API, a trust engine that attaches authorship, recency, provenance and confidence labels to each unit of knowledge, and subject-matter-expert auto-detection with validation routing for critical gaps. Knowledge is organized into role-based Scopes, with custom roles and permissions for humans and AI agents, audit logs, SSO, and a knowledge health and usage dashboard. Integrations cover Google Docs, Slack, Microsoft Teams, Stack Overflow Community, REST API, SDK, MCP server and AI coding tools such as Claude and Cursor.

Stack Internal is packaged as a free Individual Starter workspace for up to three collaborators, with a credit-based model for knowledge additions and reads, and an Organization plan with customized credits, unlimited collaborators, custom roles and dedicated account management. Some features, including certain security and enterprise capabilities, are available only on higher plans.
