Symbaloo is a personal homepage and bookmark manager for searching, organizing, and sharing links to websites, videos, documents, and other resources. Users arrange links into customizable grids called webmixes, which can be grouped, highlighted, and color-coded for quick access, and shared with others through a single link.
Webmixes support embedded videos, songs, podcasts, documents, and presentations, and can be published to a hosted Webspace with a custom URL. Bookmarks can be imported from Chrome, Firefox, Safari, or Edge, and a browser extension lets users add the current page to their account without leaving the tab. Learning Paths and child-safe mode are available across plans, and School and District editions add SIS integrations such as ClassLink and Clever, usage insights and analytics, webfilters, and IP whitelisting or blacklisting.
Plans are packaged as Free, Personal, Premium, Classroom, Library, and School/District editions, with a 7-day trial available. Paid plans are usage-based, with monthly pageview allotments for Webspace visits; exceeding the limit causes advertising to display until reset or upgrade. School and District accounts include Connected Webspaces and a Webspace Dashboard for managing subscriptions, pageview limits, and safety settings.
