Roma
The to-do list that does itself
Roma is a to-do list app that turns spoken or typed thoughts into tasks. An operator with context from your connected apps extracts the relevant actions, so you can capture ideas on the go and return to a concrete list to review and complete. The app is backed by Y Combinator and is currently in early access with a waitlist.
Features include Tasks, Automations, Projects, Favorites, and a Weekly Review, along with an operator that can find, change, and create items in Roma and connected apps. It transcribes speech, sets up recurring work from a single message, and works with Dropbox, Gmail, Google Calendar, Linear, and Notion. An MCP server connection lets you save findings from ChatGPT and Claude into Roma. The operator runs on its own computer to work inside the sites and apps you use.
Roma is aimed at people who want to capture thoughts quickly and keep the resulting tasks visible and editable. It is available in early access; the pages do not state pricing, plans, or trial details.
