A terminal app for iOS and iPadOS with SSH.

Visit Blink Shell

Blink Shell is a terminal application for iOS and iPadOS that provides Mosh and SSH connections alongside local UNIX command-line tools and file management. It is designed to maintain stable connections across network changes and device sleep, and to support command-line work directly on mobile devices.

The app includes Mosh and SSH with support for Ed25519, ECDSA, and RSA keys, built on libssh and libssh2, with tunnels, proxycommand, and ssh-agent. Local tools include vimcat, grep, wc, ls, tar, gzip, dig, curl, scp, and sftp, with shell redirection support. Blink Code connects to Visual Studio Code for web, GitHub Codespaces, GitPod, or a self-hosted VS Code server. Additional features include SFTP and Files.app, device sync, external Bluetooth keyboard support with customizable key mappings, custom themes and fonts, and output to external displays including 4K monitors and Apple TV.

Blink Shell is available through the App Store with a free trial period followed by a yearly subscription. The project is open source.
