Apache Apex

Enterprise-grade unified stream and batch processing engine with event-time windowing.

Visit Apache Apex

Apache Apex is a Hadoop YARN native platform for unified stream and batch processing of big data in motion. It is designed to be scalable, performant, fault tolerant, stateful, secure, distributed, and operable, and it provides a simple API for writing or reusing generic Java code. The project has been retired, with details available on its Attic page.

The platform includes Malhar, a library of operators and connectors for messaging systems, databases, and files, which can be used to build non-trivial applications. It also offers event-time windowing and a high-level API. The project is distributed under the Apache License, Version 2.0.
