Typora is a desktop Markdown editor that removes the separate preview window and syntax symbols, showing a live preview as you write. It solves the problem of switching between editing and preview modes, allowing users to focus on content without distractions.

The editor supports images, headers, lists, tables, code fences, mathematics, diagrams, and inline styles. Features include image upload via iPic on macOS, image resizing, relative path support, drag-and-drop insertion, custom CSS styles, table of contents, internal links, task lists, syntax highlighting for around 100 languages, live preview of math equations and diagrams (flowchart.js, Mermaid, sequence diagrams), emoji input, footnotes, and front matter. It offers file tree and article list panels, outline panel, import/export to PDF, docx, OpenOffice, LaTeX, MediaWiki, and Epub, plus Focus Mode and TypeWriter Mode.
