Thingiverse
A community for discovering, making and sharing 3D printable designs
Thingiverse is a design community for discovering, making, and sharing 3D printable files for 3D printers, laser cutters, and CNC machines. It brings together designs, makes, and discussion in one place, with Creative Commons licensing encouraged so that designs can be used and remixed. As of February 2026, Thingiverse is part of MyMiniFactory and the SoulCrafted movement, which emphasizes human-made designs and transparent curation.
The platform organizes content into categories such as 3D Printing, Art, Fashion, Gadgets, Hobby, Household, Learning, Models, Tools, and Toys & Games. Members can upload files, download designs, post Makes, follow creators, collect items, and take part in Challenges, the Forum, and the Hall of Fame. The Customizer app uses the Thingiverse API to let users modify designs. Thingiverse is free to use, with a Become a Supporter option for those who wish to support the community.
