SelfCAD is a 3D modeling and 3D printing platform that covers the workflow from initial sketch to finished print, including sketching, sculpting, rendering, animation and slicing. It runs in the browser or as a desktop application, with cloud storage for saving and sharing designs and an option to sync online and offline projects. Built-in interactive tutorials provide step-by-step guidance within the app.
The platform includes an online 3D CAD tool, a desktop 3D CAD application, a renderer and a slicer with pre-set profiles, support structure and infill settings. It works with industry-standard 3D formats, and designs can be saved to cloud servers. A partnership with MyMiniFactory provides a database of ready-to-print 3D designs.
SelfCAD is aimed at beginners, students, hobbyists and professional designers, as well as businesses in animation, game production, design and manufacturing. It is available through a browser or a downloadable PC version. A free plan is offered for students and hobbyists, alongside paid plans, and a trial provides access to SelfCAD Pro for a limited period without requiring a credit card.
