Statamic is a self-hosted content management system built on the Laravel PHP framework. It addresses the need to manage content-driven websites while keeping content version-controllable and portable, offering both flat file storage and database mode. A control panel provides content editing with blueprints, fieldtypes, live preview, multi-site support, and forms.

Key capabilities include over 40 fieldtypes, the Bard block-based editor, drag-and-drop navigation building, asset management, globals, revisions and content history, and inline content editing. Developer tools cover version control, static site generation to Netlify or Vercel, GraphQL and REST Content APIs, Eloquent-style content queries, command line tools, and an importer for WordPress, CSV, and XML. Security features include content protection, elevated sessions, passkeys, two-factor authentication, and OAuth. Addons and starter kits extend functionality, and the platform integrates with the Laravel ecosystem.

Statamic is intended for developers and content teams building websites, with a translated control panel and multi-site support for variations such as translations or country-specific versions. It is available as a free Core tier, a paid Pro tier licensed per site, and an Enterprise tier that includes SLAs.
