SCEditor is an open source WYSIWYG editor for BBCode and (X)HTML that replaces a standard textarea in a web page. It converts typed BBCode shortcuts, such as [b]:[/b], into emoticons as you type, and supports lists, colors and other formatting.
It is distributed as JavaScript and CSS via CDN, with pluggable formats (BBCode, XHTML) and themes. Forum and CMS plugins are available for MyBB, phpBB, PunBB, Question2Answer and SMF, with some provided by third parties.
SCEditor is aimed at developers adding rich text input to forums, CMS and similar sites. It is open source and available to download, with no pricing or edition details stated.
