Espresso is a web development editor for macOS that brings code editing, live preview, CSS tooling, static site building and publishing into a single application. It supports starting new projects or working on existing sites, with tools for writing, styling, building and deploying without switching between separate programs.

Its feature set includes Live Preview with Browser Xray for inspecting and editing styles across Chrome, Firefox and Safari, plus CSSEdit visual tools for standard CSS, SCSS and LESS. The text editor provides snippets, templates, multi-edit, code folding, bracket balancing, project find and replace, and a Navigator for browsing code structure. Language support covers HTML, CSS, LESS, JavaScript, CoffeeScript, PHP, Ruby, Python, Apache and XML, with syntax plug-ins and a plug-in API for extending actions, syntaxes and formatting. Dynamo handles static site building with template mixins and Markdown support, while Server Sync, Quick Publish and Quick Browse manage publishing and server transfers.

Espresso is aimed at web developers and designers working on macOS 11 or later. It is available as a paid license with a free trial offered.
