LibreNMS
Fully featured network monitoring system with extensive device support.
LibreNMS is a PHP/MySQL-based network monitoring system that automatically discovers devices and provides monitoring, graphing, and alerting for network infrastructure. It addresses the need to track network devices and their traffic without manual inventory management.
Key capabilities include automatic discovery via CDP, FDP, LLDP, OSPF, BGP, SNMP, and ARP; a customizable alerting system supporting email, IRC, Slack, and other channels; a full API for managing and retrieving data; a bandwidth billing system for ports; distributed polling for horizontal scaling; and automatic updates. It integrates with Unix agents including NfSen, collectd, SmokePing, RANCID, and Oxidized, and supports multiple authentication methods such as MySQL, HTTP, LDAP, RADIUS, and Active Directory. Native iPhone and Android apps are available, along with a mobile-friendly web UI.
LibreNMS is intended for network administrators and operators managing device infrastructure. It is available as open-source software with installation guides for CentOS and Ubuntu, supporting Apache and Nginx web servers, and Docker images. An online demo is available for evaluation. Commercial support with SLA-backed services and consultancy is offered through partners.
