Laragon is a local development environment for Windows that lets developers create and manage web projects with PHP, Node.js, web servers, and databases. It runs offline, requires no account, and keeps all project files and database data on the local machine. The environment is portable: everything lives in a single folder that can be copied to another machine without separate installs or registry changes.
Laragon includes one-click setup for services, virtual hosts, SSL certificates, and app creation. It supports multiple versions of Apache, PHP, MySQL, Nginx, PostgreSQL, Node.js, Python, and Golang, with Profiles for switching between tech stacks. Bundled tools include Composer, npm, pip, Cmder, and Windows Terminal. Additional capabilities include Quick-add for adding services, Quick-app for creating WordPress, Laravel, Symfony, or custom stacks, automatic pretty URLs, self-signed SSL generation, MySQL backups, Procfile-based custom services, and ngrok integration for exposing local apps.
Laragon is aimed at developers and teams working on Windows who need a self-contained local environment. It is available as an unlicensed non-commercial option with a license reminder, or through perpetual non-commercial licenses with one or two devices and one or five years of updates. Commercial licensing is offered as annual or perpetual licenses for one or two devices, plus annual team licenses for five or fifteen devices, with community, standard, or priority support depending on the edition.
