AMPPS

WAMP, MAMP and LAMP Stack

Visit AMPPS

AMPPS is a desktop software stack from Softaculous that runs Apache, MySQL, MongoDB, PHP, Perl, Python and the Softaculous auto-installer on a local machine, giving developers a server-like environment for building and testing web applications. It includes phpMyAdmin and Sendmail, and supports FTP via FileZilla on Windows and Pure-FTPd on macOS.

The stack provides one-click installation and updates of PHP and Apache packages, with multiple PHP versions available to switch between per project. Softaculous deploys apps such as WordPress, Joomla, Drupal, Magento and phpBB. A WordPress Manager handles plugins, themes, upgrades, cloning, staging, remote import and debug mode. Additional modules cover domain management, LAN access, backups to local or remote locations, MySQL and MongoDB database management, SQLite Manager, and FTP user management.

AMPPS is aimed at developers and teams working on local web projects. It is packaged as a free plan limited to one PC with a single PHP version and no updates or support, alongside paid yearly editions covering one, five, 25 or 100 PCs with all apps, updates, support, multiple PHP versions and the full feature set.
