IndigoStack

The local dev environment you will love.

Visit IndigoStack

Indigo is a native macOS application for configuring and running local web servers directly on a Mac without Docker or virtual machines. It runs services such as Nginx, Apache, PHP, MySQL and Redis on bare metal, stores each stack configuration in a single file, and includes a self-configuring reverse proxy with automatic HTTPS for local domains.

It supports unlimited sites, multiple servers and PHP versions running simultaneously, and a built-in reverse proxy that lets you use custom local domains with automatic SSL certificates. Stacks can be shared with a team through version control or file-syncing services. Indigo installs its services independently of macOS and Homebrew, and is available for Intel and Apple Silicon Macs running macOS 14 or later.

Indigo is packaged as a free Basic edition for personal use, with a limited set of services and no dark mode, and a Pro edition for personal and commercial use that unlocks all services and dark mode. Pro is licensed for one user across up to three Macs and is offered on an annual subscription basis, with a 30-day free trial that reverts to Basic when it ends. Team licences for more than three Macs are arranged through support.
