JS Paint

Classic MS Paint in the browser, with extra features

Visit JS Paint

JS Paint is an open-source, browser-based remake of Microsoft Paint, released under the MIT License. It provides a familiar drawing interface for creating and editing bitmap images, with standard tools such as selection, cut/copy/paste, undo, zoom, grid display, color editing, and image transformations like flip/rotate and stretch/skew. The interface supports multiple themes, including Classic and Modern light and dark variants, and is available in a wide range of languages.

The application includes a history panel with the option to render history as a GIF, along with extras such as multi-user sessions, speech recognition, head tracking, dwell clicking, and an enlarged UI option. Files can be opened, saved, loaded from a URL, or uploaded to Imgur, with clipboard and print support included. JS Paint runs in the browser, can be installed as a Progressive Web App, or downloaded as a desktop app for Windows, macOS, and Linux, where it runs offline and supports opening and saving files natively. It is also included in a web-based version of Windows 98 alongside other applications.
