HomeButler

Know what changed before you fix it.

Visit HomeButler

HomeButler is a single Go binary for server maintenance on small homelabs. It reports what changed on a server since the last run, maps exposed ports, catches crashes, and verifies backups, helping operators see the state of a machine before making changes.

It can be operated through a CLI, a web interface, JSON output, or MCP, without requiring an SSH key. It is installable via Homebrew, with a report command that shows what changed on a server since the last run.

HomeButler is aimed at people maintaining small homelab servers. The pages do not describe a free plan, trial, editions, or seat-based or usage-based packaging.
