HomelabOS
Your offline-first privacy-centric personal data center.
HomelabOS is an open-source platform for self-hosting applications on your own hardware, letting you run services such as email, chat, file storage, media, and home automation locally rather than relying on third-party providers. It is designed to keep data on servers you control and to keep services available on your LAN even without external internet access.
The platform provides one-line deployment via a shell script, nightly backups using restic, and optional off-site backup to another server using minio. It can configure services as TOR hidden services, and can use Terraform to deploy and configure a bastion server acting as a reverse proxy. Security defaults are included out of the box, and services are managed through a self-hosted app store covering over 100 applications.
HomelabOS is aimed at individuals and households who want to run their own services for themselves, family, or friends. It is open source and free to use, with no paid editions or seat-based plans indicated.
