HAProxy

The reliable, high-performance TCP/HTTP load balancer

Visit HAProxy

HAProxy is a TCP/HTTP load balancer and reverse proxy that distributes traffic across backend servers and provides high availability for TCP and HTTP-based applications. It handles proxying, load balancing, and traffic management for services that need to remain reachable and responsive.

The software supports HTTP/2 and HTTP/3, QUIC, SSL/TLS with ACME certificate management, dynamic backends, health checks, stick-tables, and OpenTelemetry observability. It includes HATop for ncurses monitoring, the Herald load feedback agent, haproxystats for stats collection, and Docker images for Alpine, Debian, and RHEL, along with Debian/Ubuntu packages and performance packages built against AWS-LC.

HAProxy is available as open-source software with multiple release branches, including LTS and stable versions, and is distributed through source repositories, packages, and container images. Commercial support and enterprise features are offered separately.
