GetSimple CMS

GetSimple Content Management System

Visit GetSimple CMS

GetSimple CMS is a flat-file content management system written in PHP that stores site content in flat files rather than a database. Originally created by Chris Cagle, it is now maintained by a community and distributed under the GNU General Public License v3. The project is available through its official website and GitHub repository, with installation and upgrade documentation provided separately.

The software runs on PHP 5.2 or later and requires the SimpleXML, xml, json, and dom extensions, with curl and gd listed as optional. JavaScript must be enabled in the browser. Apache is required for out-of-the-box security using .htaccess; on other servers, the application displays a warning that data files must be secured separately. The homepage links to documentation for requirements, installation, and upgrading, and directs bug and security reports to the project forums.
