Xabber
Open-source XMPP client for Android and Web
Xabber is an open-source XMPP messaging client for Android and as a web app in the browser, built around open standards and interoperability. It pairs the client with a professionally maintained XMPP service that supports account registration, so users can message across federated servers without relying on proprietary services.
Features include device synchronization across connected platforms, dynamic history loading, support for multiple XMPP accounts used simultaneously, compatibility with any server and many extensions, image and file sharing, and end-to-end encryption. The source code is publicly available on GitHub under the GPLv3 license.
Xabber is for users seeking an XMPP client on Android or in a modern browser. Accounts are offered in a free tier with limited history and file storage, alongside Enhanced and Premium paid account options that add unlimited history storage and additional file storage; Premium accounts are created on premium domains.
