Share, freely and privately
Jami is a free/libre communication platform that provides end-to-end encrypted messaging and calling without requiring a server to relay data between users. It is a GNU project licensed under GNU GPLv3 or later, and accounts can be created without providing personal information.
Features include instant messaging, audio and video calls, group chats, video conferences and Rendezvous points, audio and video message recording, screen sharing, media streaming, and an extension platform for additional capabilities. Jami can also function as a SIP client. It runs on Linux, Android, AndroidTV, Windows, macOS, and iOS, with multiple devices linkable to a single account.
Jami is distributed as free software with no advertising and no stated restrictions on file size, bandwidth, features, accounts, or storage. The project accepts donations to support development.
