Vexlio
Interactive diagrams where detail is revealed on demand via popups attached to shapes, all
Vexlio is a diagramming tool for creating interactive diagrams where shapes carry popup content that viewers reveal on click or hover. This keeps the main overview readable while detail such as text, images, code snippets, tables, links, or nested sub-diagrams stays available on demand. Published diagrams are shared as read-only viewer links that anyone can open in a browser without an account or installation, and they can be embedded in iframes.
The editor includes automatic snapping, alignment guides, numeric controls for exact position, size, and corner radii, plus native live-editable LaTeX equations. Popups can be configured per shape to open on click or hover, and each popup is a full canvas without restrictions on content or size. Diagrams can be exported to PNG, JPG, SVG, and PDF.
Vexlio is aimed at documenting complex processes, system architectures, decision trees, and technical content, with use cases spanning regulated industries, facilities, and compliance work. It offers a free plan limited to three documents and 200 objects per document with viewer links expiring after three days, and an Unlimited edition with permanent viewer links, all export formats, and no document or object limits, available on a monthly or annual subscription or a one-time annual option. Self-hosting and custom deployments are available for business and educational use.
