Raneto
Markdown Knowledgebase for Node.js
Raneto is an open source knowledgebase platform that serves documentation from static Markdown files, removing the need for a database. It is built with Node.js and is intended for creating documentation sites, internal wikis, API documentation, and product guides.
The platform includes full-text search powered by Lunr.js, a built-in web editor for creating and editing documents, syntax highlighting with Highlight.js, and a customizable Bootstrap theme using Mustache templating. Content can be version controlled with Git, and the software can be installed via Bash or Docker and deployed anywhere.
Raneto is released under the MIT license and is available as open source software.
