QTTabBar
Extends Windows Explorer with tabs and extra folder views
QTTabBar is a free, donationware Windows utility that extends File Explorer with tabs and additional folder views. It is designed for Windows 7, 8, 8.1, and 10 in both 32-bit and 64-bit editions, requiring .NET Framework 4.0. A beta version supports Windows 11 and Windows 10 64-bit with .NET Framework 4.8, and includes an enabler tool for Windows 11 Insider Preview where the toolbar UI is not otherwise available.
The utility provides tabs, extra folder views, plugins, command files, and scripting support. It also offers multiple-language support through community-contributed translations, including Chinese, Czech, Dutch, French, German, Italian, Japanese, Korean, Polish, Portuguese, Russian, Spanish, Swedish, Turkish, and Vietnamese. The beta adds xxHash algorithm support and a new middle-click event for file icons. QTTabBar is available as a free download with donationware licensing, and the project maintains separate stable and beta releases for different Windows versions.
