Visit Pulp

Pulp is an open source platform for managing software package lifecycles, letting developers fetch, upload, organize, and distribute content either on-premises or in the cloud. It addresses the problem of handling large collections of software content across repositories, including synchronization from upstream sources, publishing, hosting, and replication between Pulp instances.

Pulp is built around a core (pulpcore) with plugins for specific formats, including Ansible, Container, Debian, File, Gem, Maven, NPM, Python, RPM, Rust, and Hugging Face. Capabilities include repository synchronization, pull-through caching, content signing, role-based access control, alternate content sources, vulnerability scanning, and import/export. It offers a REST API, a command-line tool (Pulp CLI), a web interface (Pulp UI), and an OpenAPI generator for client bindings. Authentication options include basic auth, Keycloak, JSON header, and workload identity, with integrations for Kafka, Sentry, and CDN caching. Deployment is supported through OCI container images and a Pulp Operator for Kubernetes and OpenShift.

Pulp is aimed at developers and administrators who need to manage and distribute software packages across environments. It is open source and available through community channels; the documentation covers installation, configuration, and administration without specifying commercial editions or pricing tiers.
