Portainer

One platform, not twelve tools

Visit Portainer

Portainer is a centralized management platform for Kubernetes, Docker, Swarm, and Podman environments. It provides a single control plane for multi-cluster fleet governance, GitOps deployment workflows, role-based access control, SSO, and audit logging, reducing the need to assemble and maintain multiple separate tools.

Key capabilities include fleet governance policies with automatic drift remediation, Git-based deployments with webhooks and change windows, Helm chart deployment, Kubernetes resource and quota management, image registry management, and identity features such as LDAP, OAuth, Active Directory sync, and SSO templates. It supports Kubernetes distributions including EKS, AKS, GKE, bare metal, and on-premises, alongside Docker, Swarm, and Podman from the same console.

Portainer is packaged by node count rather than seats, with a free Business Edition for up to 3 nodes. Paid plans are offered in Starter, Scale, and Enterprise tiers, with node-based licensing covering all supported orchestrators under a single license. An extended free trial is available for Enterprise, and industrial and IoT edge fleets are licensed separately.
