NoteFly is a free, open-source, lightweight note-taking application for Windows. It allows users to create formatted notes (bold, italic, underline), manage notes via a dedicated window, and supports syntax highlighting for PHP, HTML and SQL code snippets. The application is highly customizable through settings and plugins, and does not use the Windows registry (except for specific features like 'run on Windows logon' and 'register at Windows software control panel').
