Visit MobaXterm

MobaXterm is a Windows application that brings remote network tools and Unix commands into one portable executable. It supports SSH, X11, RDP, VNC, FTP, SFTP, MOSH, Telnet, Rlogin, RSH, XDMCP and Serial sessions, alongside commands such as bash, ls, cat, sed, grep, awk and rsync. It is designed for programmers, webmasters, IT administrators and other users who work with remote servers and systems.

Key capabilities include a tabbed terminal based on PuTTY with macro support and syntax highlighting, an embedded X.org-based X server with X11-forwarding and OpenGL, Composite and Randr extensions, a graphical SFTP browser with drag-and-drop file transfer, and a session manager that stores SSH, Telnet, Rlogin, RDP, VNC, XDMCP, FTP, SFTP and Serial sessions. Additional tools include multi-execution across servers, embedded network daemons, SSH gateways and port-forwarding tunnels, the MobApt package manager, the MobaTextEditor, password management with a master password, and plugins that extend the application. The portable version runs without administrator rights or additional frameworks.

MobaXterm is available as a free Home Edition for personal use, while the Professional Edition adds more features and the Customizer software for generating customized copies with a company logo and default settings.
