The mailserver suite with the 'moo'.

Visit mailcow

mailcow is a dockerized mail server suite that combines multiple open source components into a single deployable stack, with a web-based administration interface for managing mail domains, mailboxes, aliases, and related settings. It is intended for self-hosted email infrastructure where administration is handled through a browser rather than command-line configuration of individual services.

The suite is built from components including Dovecot, Postfix, Rspamd, SOGo, Nginx, Redis, and ClamAV, covering mail delivery, spam filtering, antivirus scanning, webmail and groupware via SOGo, and reverse proxy handling. It supports features such as MTA-STS, forced two-factor authentication, DNS-01 challenges, app passwords, Prometheus exporter metrics, and EAS/DAV access controls. Updates are delivered through an update script within the Docker Compose setup, with release notes covering component version bumps and security fixes.

mailcow is aimed at administrators and organizations running their own mail infrastructure on Docker-based systems. The project is open source and distributed as a Docker Compose deployment; no paid editions, trials, or seat-based or usage-based packaging are described on the pages provided.
