MailEnable is a Windows-based mail server software that provides email hosting and collaboration services for organizations of all sizes. It addresses the need for a secure, on-premises email solution with features comparable to Microsoft Exchange, supporting protocols such as Exchange ActiveSync, IMAP, SMTP, and POP3 for email delivery and synchronization.
The software includes a webmail interface with calendar, contacts, tasks, and notes, along with CalDAV and CardDAV synchronization for mobile devices. It offers Outlook integration through a MAPI Connector, anti-spam filtering with SPF, Bayesian filtering, and URL blacklist content filtering, as well as antivirus capabilities. Additional features include file storage (My Files), appointment scheduling, free/busy status lookup, and multilingual support. Version 10 introduces integrated chat via XMPP, video and audio chat with screen sharing, and multi-factor authentication.
MailEnable is designed for hosting companies, educational institutions, and corporations. It is licensed per server with unlimited domains and mailboxes, and is available in four editions: Standard (free), Professional, Enterprise, and Enterprise Premium, each with a free trial.
