library.io is an Autodesk service for generating PCB footprints and 3D models from datasheet dimensions, addressing the manual work of building component packages for electronics design. Footprint pad geometries are generated to meet IPC-7351B standards, with a note to verify components prior to manufacturing.

Packages created in library.io can be incorporated into Autodesk Fusion Electronics libraries for use in PCB designs. Libraries can be synced through the library.io cloud across Autodesk Fusion Team hubs, and libraries and 3D models can be exported for use in other CAD systems. The service also offers packages and libraries for free.

The service is aimed at electronics designers working with PCB layouts and ECAD-MCAD workflows, particularly those using Autodesk Fusion. Access is provided through sign-up, and the site states that thousands of packages and libraries are available for free.
