Laminar

Open-source platform to trace, evaluate, and debug AI agents

Visit Laminar

Laminar is an open-source agent observability platform that captures LLM calls, tool calls, sub-agents, costs, and tokens from agent runs, presenting them in a readable transcript view. It is designed to surface agent failures at scale, including failure modes that may not have been anticipated, and to help teams investigate and fix them.

Core capabilities include Signals, which analyze every run and cluster similar failures into patterns, plus Signal Clusters that show failure distributions across runs. The platform provides custom dashboards, full SQL access to platform data, full-text search across spans, labeling queues for building eval datasets, browser session recording for browser agents, and an agent debugger. Integrations cover frameworks and SDKs including Vercel AI SDK, Claude Agent SDK, OpenAI Agents SDK, LangChain, Mastra, Pydantic AI, LiteLLM, OpenHands SDK, Browser Use, Stagehand, Playwright, Anthropic, OpenAI, and Gemini API. Laminar also offers Slack alerts, MCP and CLI access for coding agents, and automatic conversion of error clusters into evaluation datasets.

Laminar is packaged as a free plan, paid Starter and Pro editions, and a custom Enterprise edition. Paid plans are subscription-based with included data allowances and usage-based overage rates; Signals analysis is billed by tokens used during trace analysis. The free plan includes limited data, retention, one project, and one seat, while paid plans offer more data, longer retention, unlimited projects and seats, and additional support channels. Enterprise adds custom limits, on-premise deployment, and dedicated support.
