OpenObserve

Open-Source, Unified Observability for the AI Era

Visit OpenObserve

OpenObserve is an open source observability platform that brings logs, metrics, traces, frontend monitoring and synthetic monitoring into a single engine, so teams can correlate signals across their stack without stitching together separate tools. It uses columnar Parquet storage written in Rust on the DataFusion engine, with no indexing step, and can be deployed as a cloud service, self-hosted, against your own object storage bucket, or fully air-gapped.

Core capabilities include SQL-based log search, Prometheus-compatible metrics, distributed tracing, dashboards, and real-time and scheduled alerts routed to Slack, PagerDuty and email. It also offers SLOs, real user monitoring, LLM observability for tracking prompts, token usage and cost, an AI assistant for natural-language queries, and an AI SRE agent that triages incidents and drafts postmortems. Ingestion is OpenTelemetry-native with 150+ integrations spanning Kubernetes, AWS, Google Cloud, Azure, databases, networks and AI frameworks, alongside collectors such as Vector, Fluent Bit and Prometheus.

OpenObserve is aimed at engineering and operations teams running distributed systems who need unified visibility across application, infrastructure and AI layers. The core platform is open source and free to use, with a free self-hosted tier offering a daily ingest allowance and a free cloud option requiring no credit card; enterprise offerings are available for organizations needing additional support.
