Visit GeoServer

GeoServer is a Java-based server for viewing, editing, and sharing geospatial data. It publishes data from major spatial sources using Open Geospatial Consortium (OGC) standards, including Web Map Service (WMS), Web Feature Service (WFS), Web Coverage Service (WCS), and Web Map Tile Service (WMTS), allowing spatial information to be displayed and incorporated into websites and applications. It is built on GeoTools, an open source Java GIS toolkit.

GeoServer implements OGC API - Features and Web Processing Service (WPS) through extensions, and supports formats such as GeoTIFF and GPKG. OpenLayers is integrated for map generation, and the server can connect with mapping APIs including Leaflet, Google Maps, Google Earth, Microsoft Bing Maps, MapBox, and ESRI ArcGIS. GeoServer is free and open source software, with community support through email lists and a public issue tracker, and commercial support available from various providers.
