Conduit
Your own chat server
Conduit is a lightweight, open-source server implementation of the Matrix Specification, designed for easy setup and low system requirements. It addresses the need for a self-hosted Matrix homeserver that can be deployed quickly while keeping the deployment simple: a single binary with an embedded database, using RocksDB by default. The project is in beta and is noted as missing some smaller features.
Conduit supports the Matrix open network for secure, decentralized communication, allowing users on any Matrix homeserver to chat with users on other Matrix servers, and to communicate with users outside Matrix through bridges such as Discord. It is packaged as a single binary with an embedded database, and the project is open source with source code and documentation available through its Git repository.
