Yomimaru
Reading tool for native Japanese content with instant explanations.
Yomimaru is a Japanese reading app that takes learners from their first hiragana to full novels, with reading graded from absolute beginner to JLPT N1. Users read material at their level, tap unknown words, and those words return as review cards. Content comes from a curated library, daily news rewritten to the user's level, or user-imported material such as pasted text, PDFs, EPUBs, DOCX files, or manga volumes. Furigana appears only over kanji the user has not yet learned, and a built-in AI tutor named Tomo-Sensei explains sentences at the user's level. The app is made by Redmoon Systems OÜ, an Estonian company founded in 2026 by Maxime Pitaval.
