A Japanese-English dictionary for looking up words, kanji, example sentences and more.
Jisho is a Japanese-English dictionary that searches words, kanji, example sentences and related data from a single search box. It accepts English, romaji, single words or full paragraphs of Japanese text, and includes features such as inflection information, radical lookup, stroke order diagrams, JLPT level tagging, and conversion of Japanese years and numbers. Data is drawn from open source projects including JMdict, JMnedict, KANJIDIC2, RADKFILE, Jreibun, Tatoeba, KanjiVG, DBpedia and Jonathan Waller's JLPT Resources page.
Jisho is aimed at learners and users who need to look up Japanese words, kanji or text passages. It is available as a web application at jisho.org, with a forum and an About page. The pages do not describe a free plan, trial, editions, seat-based or usage-based packaging.
