wxWidgets

A C++ library for creating cross-platform applications with a single code base.

Visit wxWidgets

wxWidgets is a C++ library for building GUI applications that run on Windows, macOS, Linux and other platforms from a single code base. It uses each platform's native API rather than emulating the interface, so applications adopt the controls and look and feel of the target system. The library also provides functionality beyond widgets, including online and context-sensitive help, network programming, streams, clipboard and drag-and-drop, multithreading, image loading and saving, HTML viewing and printing, document/view architecture, sockets, and date-time handling.

Language bindings are available for Python, Ruby, Lua, Rust, Dart, Perl and several other languages. Platform ports include wxGTK for Linux and Unix variants, wxMSW for Windows, wxOSX/Cocoa for macOS, wxQt, wxX11 and wxMotif, with legacy ports for older Windows and macOS releases. The library is distributed under the wxWindows License, based on the LGPL with an exception clause that permits linking applications dynamically or statically without distributing your own source, for both free and commercial projects at no cost.
