Slint
Declarative GUI toolkit for Rust, C++, JavaScript and Python
Slint is a declarative UI toolkit for building native user interfaces for embedded, desktop, mobile, and web targets from a single codebase. The interface is described in a markup language separate from business logic, which can be written in Rust, C++, JavaScript, or Python. It includes a Figma to Slint plugin, Live-Preview, a Data Editor, responsive layouts, Material 3 components, a language server and VS Code extension, and GUI test automation.
Slint is open source and offers several licensing options: GPLv3 for open source applications, a royalty-free license for desktop, mobile, and web development, and paid Enterprise, Small Enterprise, and Startup & Individual editions for proprietary applications, with company size and revenue eligibility criteria. Embedded systems on commercial projects may incur per-device royalties. Add-ons include the Perpetual Fallback License, GUI Test Framework, and Live Preview; support plans range from community forums to standard and premium tiers.
