Identify Emojis
WhatMoji is a free web tool for identifying emojis in text. Paste any passage into the input field and it scans for emoji characters, returning each one's name or annotation and its code. A single emoji can also be looked up directly by visiting whatmoji.com/(emoji). The tool is designed for anyone who encounters an emoji and wants to know what it represents.
Results are presented in a table with the emoji's name or annotation and its code, along with a link to that emoji. The site also maintains full emoji lists organized by category, including Emoticons, Transport and Map Symbols, and Symbols and Pictographs. Lists of emojis are saved so they can be linked to later, while other pasted text is not saved. The tool runs in the browser and is available at no cost.
