The Good Man
An experiment with basic CSS3 animations.
The Good Man is a browser-based animation that presents a narrative through HTML elements and CSS3 rather than image files. Text is set with web fonts and shapes, and the audio is intended to stay in sync with the visuals; refreshing the page resyncs them if they drift apart.
Playback includes subtitle and fullscreen controls, with keyboard shortcuts for subtitles and fullscreen, plus start and replay actions. The project is described as an experiment in CSS3 animation and a Graphic Design graduation project, built to run in modern web browsers and scale as much as possible. It is licensed under CC BY 3.0.
The site is aimed at people interested in animation built in code and at viewers of the narrative itself. It is a single web experience rather than a packaged product, with no plans, trials, or seat-based editions described.
