Sublime Text

A sophisticated text editor for code, markup and prose.

Visit Sublime Text

Sublime Text is a text editor for code, markup, and prose. Sublime Text 4 is the current major version, addressing navigation and editing across large projects through split views, side-by-side definition lookup, and multiple selections for renaming variables.

Its features include GPU-accelerated rendering on Linux, Mac, and Windows, native Apple Silicon and Linux ARM64 builds, and Tab Multi-Select across the side bar, tab bar, Goto Anything, Goto Definition, and autocomplete. The autocomplete engine is context-aware, drawing on existing project code and linking to definitions. Syntax highlighting supports non-deterministic grammars, multi-line constructs, lazy embeds, and syntax inheritance, with TypeScript, JSX, and TSX included by default. The Python API is updated to Python 3.8 while retaining compatibility with Sublime Text 3 packages, and the UI supports auto dark-mode switching. A companion product, Sublime Merge, is a cross-platform Git client.

Downloads are offered for Sublime Text and Sublime Merge across platforms.
