SourceHut is an open source software development platform that brings repository hosting, collaboration, and project management tools into one suite. It covers git and Mercurial repositories, mailing lists, code review, continuous integration, ticket tracking, chat, wikis, and static web hosting, with no tracking or advertising and no AI features. The platform works without JavaScript and is available as a public alpha.

Key services include hosted git and Mercurial repositories with fine-grained access control, fully virtualized CI builds on Linux and BSD distributions with ad-hoc jobs and post-build triggers, mailing lists with patch review tools and searchable archives, focused ticket tracking with email participation, hosted IRC chat with bouncer support, and git-driven wikis. The hut CLI provides data export, self-hosting migration, and custom GraphQL queries across builds, git, hg, lists, meta, pages, paste, and todo. Additional services include ad-hoc paste hosting and static web hosting.

SourceHut is aimed at developers and open source projects. It is offered through subscription tiers that differ only in price, with full access to all services included; payment is required only for users hosting their own projects, while contributors can register without paying. During the public alpha, most services do not require payment, with builds and chat being exceptions. Financial aid is available, and the software can be self-hosted.
