SoSci Survey is an online questionnaire tool for creating and running surveys, with a white-label interface that can be customized from the logo through to the full layout. It is designed to meet German data privacy requirements and GDPR, and supports accessible survey design. Questionnaires can be hosted as a cloud service or installed on your own web server.
The platform includes more than 30 question types, support for dynamic content, freely programmable survey paths and filters, controlled randomization for experiments, and integrated participant management. Audio, video, and images can be embedded, and layouts are fully customizable. Surveys are supported on mobile devices, and daily encrypted backups are included. An online manual, video tutorials, and individual support from developers are available.
SoSci Survey is free for non-commercial scholarly projects that are not carried out on behalf of or in cooperation with a company. Commercial use is available under paid rates, and a licence is offered for in-house survey server installation.
